Jeffrey Lehr M.D.
After completing four years of medical school at NYU School of Medicine, and a year of internship at Beth Israel Hospital, Dr. Lehr undertook an additional four year combined internal medicine and allergy residency at the Columbia/Roosevelt Hospital Allergy and Immunology program in New York City.He then served as Major and Chief of the Allergy and Immunology Department at Wright-Patterson in the United States Air Force for two years before beginning private practice on the Monterey Peninsula in 1974. Dr. Lehr is dually Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Allergy as well as both fellow and diplomate in the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the American College of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology.He is a Diplomate and fellow in the American Academy of Allergy Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. He also served as president of the Monterey Country Medical Society.Dr.Lehr is proud to be listed as one of the most influential Physicians in the U.S.A. in the treatment of asthma (U.S.A. Today, May 14, 2009).
